The word GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format and it is a type of file compression, similar to JPEG or TIFF. The GIF image is animated by combining several images into a single file. So, I created an animated GIF file using Photoshop’s timeline function (either frame animation or video layer animation). The GIF will be 24 frames at 12 frames per second or two seconds long.
